These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any purchase made through our store.

3. Products and Information

We sell coffee, coffee beans, brewing equipment, accessories, and related products.

Coffee is a natural agricultural product; variations in flavour, aroma, colour, or appearance are normal and not considered defects.

Product descriptions and images are provided in good faith but may vary slightly from the actual product.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or update product information at any time.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices include GST where applicable.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.
Payment must be received in full before an order is processed.

We accept payment methods supported by WooCommerce, including [e.g. credit card, google pay, apple pay etc.].

5. Orders and Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We may cancel or refuse an order if there is an error in pricing, stock availability, or suspected fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times provided are estimates only.
Sunshine Coffee Distributors is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.
Ownership and risk pass to the customer upon delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Re-shipping costs, due to incorrect information, may be charged.

7. Returns, Refunds & Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a replacement or store credit for:

Major failures
Products that are unsafe
Products that are significantly different from their description

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind

Due to food safety regulations, coffee and consumable products cannot be returned for change of mind.
Non-consumable items may be returned within 5 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging, subject to approval.

9. Allergies and Caffeine Disclaimer

Our products may be processed in facilities that handle allergens such as nuts, dairy, soy, or gluten.
We do not guarantee allergen-free products.
Coffee contains caffeine and should be consumed responsibly.

Sunshine Coffee Distributors is not responsible for adverse reactions caused by consumption of our products.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, branding, and design, is the property of Sunshine Coffee Distributors or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without our written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product that is the subject of the claim.

If your ACL claim is valid, we will also refund  (or provide store credit equal to) the cost of return shipping

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sunshine Coffee Distributors from any claim or demand arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our website or products.

13. Privacy

Your submission of personal information through our store is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). 

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
